Booking & Appointment Policy

At Woke Tattoo Studio, we want every client to have a smooth and professional experience from the moment they enquire to the moment their tattoo or piercing is complete.
This Booking & Appointment Policy explains how appointments work and what you can expect when booking with us.
1. Booking Requests
Appointments may be requested through our website, WhatsApp, telephone, or other official communication channels.
Woke Tattoo Studio currently operates by appointment only. Walk-in tattoos, piercings, consultations, and other studio visits are not available. Please arrange and confirm your appointment before travelling to the studio.
Submitting an enquiry or booking request does not automatically guarantee an appointment. Your appointment is confirmed only once Woke Tattoo Studio has confirmed the booking and the required booking deposit has been received.
2. Booking Deposits
A 50% booking deposit is required to secure a confirmed appointment. The deposit is applied toward the agreed service.
Booking deposits are non-refundable, except where a refund or other right is required by applicable law and cannot legally be excluded. Payment instructions and any project-specific terms will be communicated before payment is made.
3. Appointment Confirmation
Once your appointment is confirmed, you are responsible for attending at the agreed date and time.
Please check your confirmation details carefully and contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error.
4. Rescheduling
One reschedule is allowed when you contact Woke Tattoo Studio at least 24 hours before the agreed appointment time. The deposit transfers to the replacement appointment, which must take place within 90 days of the original appointment date and remains subject to availability.
If you give less than 24 hours’ notice, do not attend, request another reschedule, or do not use the transferred deposit within 90 days, the deposit is forfeited and a new 50% deposit is required before another appointment can be confirmed. These terms remain subject to any consumer rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Cancellations and Studio-Cancelled Appointments
If you cancel an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Booking deposits are non-refundable and may be retained as a reasonable cancellation charge, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the booking.
If Woke Tattoo Studio cancels the appointment or cannot provide the agreed service, you may choose to transfer the full deposit to a new date or request a full refund.
Nothing in this policy removes any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Arriving late may reduce the time available for your session and, depending on the circumstances, may require your appointment to be shortened or rescheduled.
If you know you are going to be late, please contact us as soon as possible.
7. No-Shows
If you do not attend your appointment and do not contact us in advance, the appointment is treated as a no-show. The deposit is forfeited, and a new 50% deposit is required before another appointment can be confirmed.
These terms remain subject to applicable consumer law and any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Design Changes
For custom tattoo projects, design changes should be communicated as early as possible.
Significant changes made close to the appointment may affect the time required, pricing, or ability to complete the project as planned.
We will discuss significant changes with you before proceeding where reasonably possible.
9. Health and Safety
Before receiving a tattoo or piercing, you may be required to provide relevant information about your health, allergies, medications, skin conditions, or other factors that may affect the safety or suitability of the service.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to your appointment.
We reserve the right to postpone or decline a service where we reasonably believe proceeding may create an unacceptable health or safety risk.
10. Age, Identification and Guardian Requirements
These are Woke Tattoo Studio’s service rules:
- Tattoo clients must be 18 years or older.
- Piercing clients must be 18 years or older. Clients aged 16 or 17 may receive an eligible piercing only when a parent or legal guardian is present.
- The client and, where applicable, the parent or legal guardian must bring valid identification.
- No tattoo service is provided to a person under 18, and no piercing service is provided to a person under 16.
Woke Tattoo Studio may refuse or postpone any service where age, identity, guardianship, informed consent or safety cannot be confirmed.
11. Refusal or Postponement of Service
Woke Tattoo Studio reserves the right to refuse or postpone a service where there are reasonable concerns relating to health, safety, intoxication, abusive behaviour, unlawful requests, or other circumstances that make it inappropriate to proceed.
12. Client Communication
We may contact you using the contact details you provide to communicate about your enquiry, booking, appointment, payment, aftercare, or other service-related matters.
Please ensure that your contact information is accurate and up to date.
13. Questions
If you have questions about your appointment or these booking terms, please contact us before your appointment. We would rather answer your questions beforehand than leave you uncertain.
