2. Understanding the Procedure
Before proceeding, you should have an opportunity to understand what service you are receiving and ask questions about the process.
If you are unsure about anything, please ask your artist or piercer before the procedure begins.
3. Tattooing and Healing
A tattoo involves introducing pigment into the skin.
The appearance of a tattoo may change as it heals, and healing outcomes can vary between individuals.
Factors such as skin type, placement, aftercare, lifestyle, and individual healing can influence the final appearance.
No artist can guarantee an identical result to a digital design, reference image, or healed tattoo belonging to another person.
4. Piercing and Healing
A piercing involves creating an opening in the body and inserting jewellery.
Healing times vary depending on the piercing location and the individual.
Proper aftercare is important for supporting the healing process.
5. Potential Risks
As with any procedure involving the skin, tattooing and piercing may involve potential risks.
These may include irritation, swelling, discomfort, infection, allergic reactions, scarring, or other complications.
Your artist or piercer will provide relevant information and aftercare guidance.
If you experience concerns during the healing process, seek appropriate professional medical advice where necessary.
6. Right to Ask Questions
You are encouraged to ask questions before receiving a service.
You should never feel pressured to proceed if you do not understand the process or have concerns about your appointment.
7. Consent
By completing a consent form and proceeding with a service, you confirm that you have been given an opportunity to ask questions and understand the information provided to you.

8. Minors, Age and Identification
Woke Tattoo Studio provides tattoos only to clients aged 18 or older.
Piercing clients must be 18 or older. A client aged 16 or 17 may receive an eligible piercing only when a parent or legal guardian is present. Both the minor and the parent or legal guardian must bring valid identification.
No piercing service is provided to a person under 16. Woke Tattoo Studio may refuse a service where age, identity, guardianship, informed consent or safety cannot be confirmed.
9. Withdrawal of Consent
If you have concerns before your procedure begins, please communicate them to your artist or piercer.
Consent should be informed and voluntary.
